We have an unbounded belief
in human potential.

Great minds think           differently.

Our Story

Helping diverse people thrive together is at the centre of everything we do.

As a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) consultancy, we acknowledge how our societies, and consequently our workplaces, have been impacted by unconscious biases.

Our vision is to help organisations create just and equitable spaces. An inclusive culture that welcomes and values individual differences, ensures the success and resilience of businesses, in addition to meeting social responsibility goals.

Our inspiration comes from turmeric, the humble root ubiquitous to many cultures. For centuries, its healing powers have been well known; especially as an anti-inflammatory remedy. We aspire to play a role similar to turmeric. Just like a pinch of turmeric can give enormous relief, we believe any step towards inclusion, big or small, is the beginning of a welcoming work culture.

People giving a high five

We facilitate a mindset change in organisations to be inclusive, value differences and thrive in those differences.

Our work enables organisations to bring different voices into their business; where these voices are heard and valued through a culture of listening and psychological safety. This intersectional approach encourages individuals to fearlessly bring their ‘whole’ selves to the workplace, utilise their full potential and have a strong emotional and intellectual connection with the organisation.

We help organisations in their DEI journey through evidence-based work comprising HR process audits, assessments, listening surveys, metrics for success, and customised DEI strategies.

Being a “talent enabler” has been her mantra as a HR and DEI practitioner.  Having led the culture function for almost 15 years as the Chief Talent Officer for two large multi-national corporations, she has a vast repertoire of experience in people strategy and employee experience encompassing talent attraction, management, engagement, development and retention. She was the executive sponsor of an all-women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG), while being a full-time director of the company. As an additional responsibility, she led the DEI function for Wunderman Thompson South Asia for about 5 years.

This has given her a unique insider’s perspective on key DEI challenges and solutions. It has also enabled her to articulate and manage talent strategies, people policies and employee value propositions through a DEI lens. With multi-level stakeholder management experience, she not only has the ability to engage with senior leaders, but also visualise DEI touch points across employee journeys.

She brings the passion of an educator to conceptualising scalable DEI initiatives, that are curated to each organisation’s context and requirements. As an #IAmRemarkable facilitator, she is committed to empowering under-represented groups in the workplace and beyond.

Training and Development has been her passion and she has conducted multiple programs for senior leaders and people managers on Unconscious Bias, Bias Interrupters, Conscious Terminology,  Allyship, Microaggressions & Micro Inequities, Masculine Stereotypes, Inclusive Hiring, and Bystander Intervention to name a few.

She has also contributed to several trade publications on people strategy and DEI.

Outside of work, Roopa is an avid organic baker, a yoga practitioner and loves reading both fiction & non-fiction.
